Hernán La Greca is Senior Creative Director of Original Production for Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Tooncast Latin America. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, reports to Pablo Zuccarino, VP & Channel Manager for Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Tooncast Latin America.
La Greca is in charge of all original content production for Latin America, including short and long formats.
La Greca joined Turner Broadcasting System as a Writer/Producer in 2000. In 2003 he was promoted to Creative Director. His contributions to the network have garnered prestigious awards in Cannes, The New York Festival International Television & Films Awards, The One Show, CLIO, El Ojo de Iberoamérica, FIAP, Promax International y Promax Latinoamérica, among others.
Prior to joining the company, he worked as a producer and coordinator for the Argentinean TV show Perdona Nuestros Pecados Deluxe. Also, has written for well-known magazines, including Rolling Stone, Los Inrockuptibles and Magazín Literario Argentina.
Additionally, La Greca was a fellow in the Antorchas Foundation, obtained the second place in the “Buenos Artes Joven” contest, and got a special mention in literature for his work at “The Third Biennial Arts for Youth”. In 2001, he published the poetry book, La fuerza, Rosario, Bajo la luna nueva, 2001.
Hernán La Greca was born in Argentina, and has a degree in Communications from the University of Buenos Aires.
