Broadcasters want to show your film on their channel.

If​ you are ​ interested, KingstOOn can share your entry with media partners who broadcast on free-to-air TV channels, cable TV channels, video on demand platforms and other over-the-top platforms.

​Get exposure for your work when these partners integrate your content as part of their programming line-up. They will show your film as a free-view ​from the date you agree to opt-in to this programme to either 1 day or 3 months after the close of the Festival.

The KingstOOn opt-in programme runs from February 16 to June 14, 2016. You may participate for any duration within this period.

The broadcasters reserve the right to negotiate with you to buy or license the content at any time. This will open avenues for you to generate income from your content.

The KingstOOn Opt-In Exposure Program has three objectives:

  1. To ​gain exposure ​within Jamaica, the region and internationally for the work of KingstOOn finalists within Jamaica, the Caribbean and the rest of the world.
  2. To create opportunities for KingstOOn finalists to generate income from their work.
  3. To encourage greater integration of animated content as part of the programming line-up of Jamaican and other Caribbean channels.
